Tech Mahindra partners with Retalon to offer digital solutions for retail, consumer packaged goods industry – Times of India

Tech Mahindra has announced a new global strategic partnership with Retalon which deals in retail AI and predictive analytics solutions. This partnership will help the retail and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry to gain better customer insights, improve decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency. Tech Mahindra and Retalon will offer a unified analytic platform that will assist businesses with end-to-end planning, inventory management, supply chain network strategy, pricing and promotion optimisation. This platform will also offer an integrated solution to make better inventory & fulfilment decisions. The companies claim that this platform will help in improving gross margins from 9-12% annually.
New platform for the retail and CPG industry: Importance
This partnership will bring together Tech Mahindra’s expertise in retail and consumer goods (RCG) and digital services with Retalon’s artificial intelligence (AI) and predictive analytics tools to offer improved customer experiences.
Moreover, this partnership is expected to further strengthen Tech Mahindra’s market position and will even expand its global retail portfolio to cater to the evolving and dynamic needs of its customers. The partnership also underlines the company’s focus on digital growth under the Nxt.Now framework, which is designed to leverage next-gen technologies to deliver improved solutions and further enable digital transformation.
Both companies are set to participate in the NRF 2023 retail show which will be held in New York, US, between January 14 to 17. At this event, Tech Mahindra will not only highlight its innovative digital experiences but will also focus on its next-gen technologies. These technologies include — direct-to-customer (DTC), digital supply chain, 5G, sustainability, blockchain, metaverse, artificial intelligence, virtual reality/augmented reality and more.

Tech Mahindra’s Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Growth, Jagdish Mitra said: “With physical and online shopping platforms merging, digital transformation has become a top priority for retailers today as it helps them increase profitability, streamline new processes, and be agile.”
