Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro and Galaxy Watch are soon expected to get a new software update that will bring new features to them. SamMobile has reported that the update will be rolled out starting rolling out on Galaxy Buds2 Pro starting today, while the Galaxy Watch will receive the update in February.
Talking about the new features, the Galaxy Watch will get a new camera control improvement that will allow users to zoom in and out right from the smartwatch. As for Galaxy Buds2 Pro, it is set to get a new audio recording feature that will allow users to record 360 audio using the buds.
360 audio recording on Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro
The new 360 audio recording feature will allow users to record the audio as they hear it in the real world. This means, that the Galaxy Buds2 Pro will offer professional-grade audio recording without the need for additional accessories.
According to the report, the 360-degree audio recording feature is the first to utilise the Buds2 Pro’s Bluetooth LE Audio standard. After the update rollout, the Buds2 Pro users will be able to enable the feature when the earbuds are connected to the Galaxy smartphone running One IUI 5.0 or newer.
Zoom feature on the Samsung Galaxy Watch camera app
Galaxy Watch already has a pretty functional camera control app that allows users to control the shutter, change modes and more. With the latest update, the app will get the Zoom feature that will users to zoom in and zoom out right from the smartwatch app.
For that unaware, Samsung is expected to announce Galaxy S23 series smartphones on February 1. This includes the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. In terms of features, the entire lineup is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
