Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is set to expand its Note-series with the launch of the Redmi Note 12 lineup for the Indian market. The company has announced that it will unveil its next smartphone on January 5 in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed two new handsets for this lineup — the Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Redmi Note 12 Pro: What will offer
Redmi India took to Twitter to share the launch details of the upcoming Redmi Note 12 Pro smartphone. Additionally, the tweet includes a link to a landing page with some smartphone specifications.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro landing page reveals that the smartphone will feature an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Dolby Vision support. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. The upcoming 5G-enabled smartphone will also support Dolby Atmos. For image purposes, the phone primary camera will come with OIS support and promises to offer a day long battery life with a single charge of 15 minutes.

Redmi Note 12 Pro: Expected features and specifications
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is rumoured to sport a 6.67-inch display. As per the reports by Gizmochina, the Redmi Note 12 Pro smartphone is said to come equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which will include a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro’s Dimensity processor may come paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The upcoming device is likely to be backed by a 5000mAh battery unit that might support 67W of fast charging.
