Poco C50 to launch in India today: Expected price, features and more – Times of India

Poco is set to expand its smartphone portfolio with the launch of a new device under its C-series. The company was expected to launch the Poco C50 in January and it has now confirmed the launch date via its official Twitter handle. The tweet also includes a teaser poster that reads “Revealing Tomorrow” and even reads: “This is your sign to slide into 2023 with a big slay of energy! Watch this space tomorrow to #SlayAllDay.”

Poco will unveil the C50 smartphone today at 12 noon. Buyers will be able to purchase the new smartphone via Poco and Flipkart websites.
Poco C50: Expected specifications
As per the teaser shared by the company, the Poco C50 is likely to arrive with a dual-rear camera setup. The company hasn’t shared any specifications or details of the smartphone. The smartphone maker claims that the smartphone will offer ‘stellar camera performance, immersive multimedia experience, long battery life with a sleek design and much more’. Some online leaks suggest that the Poco C50 will be a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi A1 smartphone.
Poco C50 is likely to sport a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset.
The budget smartphone will likely pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone is also said to come with microSD card support.
Poco C50 is tipped to run Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of UI. The smartphone is expected to sport an 8MP dual rear camera setup and a 5MP front shooter for selfies and video calls.
The upcoming Poco smartphone is said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
