Microsoft services are facing an outage. According to Downdetector, the website that tracks outages, reports started coming around 12.19 pm and peaked at 1.04 pm, with 2689 users reporting issues. Microsoft too has confirmed the outage. “We’re investigating issues impacting multiple Microsoft 365 services. More info can be found in the admin center under MO502273,” said the company in the first tweet.
Minutes later, the company said that a networking issue is behind the reported outage. “We’ve identified a potential networking issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine the next troubleshooting steps. You can find additional information on our status page at https://msft.it/6011eAYPc or on SHD under MO502273.”
It’s not clear which services are down. Reports suggest VPN, SQL, Azure and Web apps have been affected.
