Samsung unveiled its latest premium smartphone series, the Galaxy S23 earlier this month. The South Korea-based tech giant is now reportedly working on the upcoming Galaxy A-series models that are expected to arrive in 2023. Amongst these models, the Samsung Galaxy A54 mid-range smartphone is also set to be released soon by the company. The smartphone is likely to be released within a few months. A new report claims that the Galaxy A54 smartphone will be easier to repair than the newly launched Galaxy S23. Samsung is yet to confirm the launch date of the Galaxy A54. More information about the smartphone is rumoured to surface in the upcoming weeks.
Why Galaxy A54 may have a lower repairability cost
The Galaxy S23 is a flagship phone from Samsung which includes complex and more expensive components. Over the years, the company has improved the repairability costs of its premium smartphones. However, some restrictions continue to persist when the cost is compared to a mid-range phone like the Galaxy A54.
According to a report by Sammobile, the support page for the Galaxy A54 (SM-A546B) has been spotted on Samsung France’s website (spotted by GalaxyClub). The webpage mentions that the Galaxy A54 will have a repairability score of 8.4. To compare, this score is slightly better than the 8.2 scores achieved by the Galaxy S23 model. The report mentions that this score won’t have any real impact on user experience with the Galaxy A54.

Samsung Galaxy A54: Expected specs
Rumours suggest that the Galaxy A54 smartphone may sport a 6.6-inch full HD+ AMOLED display and may feature an Exynos 1380 chipset coupled with 6GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The smartphone may also house a 50MP primary sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro camera. The Galaxy A54 is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery unit.
