Fallout: Jonathan Nolan on the “scariest but most rewarding part” of video game revolution

Jonathan Nolan, known for writing award-winning films such as Interstellar, Memento and others, is planning to start Fallout. Adapted from the popular video game, the series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Clifton, Walton Goggins and others.

The filmmaker who recently came to India to promote the show, opened up about the process of presenting Fallout. He shared, “Singing is the part that I enjoy and it’s scary, but the most rewarding part of it. Writing, even if it’s a collaboration, working with writers, it’s all very intimate, and then suddenly you open the casting and wait to be surprised. We’re lucky here with Ella, Aaron, and Walton.”

Ella Purnell, who plays Lucy in the show, shared, “When I met Jonah, Geneva, and Graham and they explained their way into the world, the game, and then the character – it’s someone who can start a toothpaste commercial but I can also kill you, I was like, ‘I’m in.’ I’m 100 percent in. Sign me up.’”

Fallout also starring Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudary, Michael Emerson, and Moises Arias will be released on April 11, 2024.
