Vizio just announced a $999 86-inch 4K TV

Walmart ag had to sell a kidney to buy a large 4K TV for the living room. That is no longer true, as television prices continue to drop. The reason? Vizio has just announced an 86-inch 4K smart TV that costs just $999.

The first thing worth mentioning about Vizio’s latest member of the 4K video lineup is its size. The next largest is 75 inches and is already large enough to take up a lot of space. This would be like having a Times Square poster in your living room. This is not a bad thing, especially for home theater lovers.

We don’t know what this set will look like, but it has a lot of features. Vizio says it “has the same dynamic image as the original”, thanks to the inclusion of Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10 +. The company also promises that the TV can run games at 120 fps once you switch to 1080p. Here’s hoping that medicine can . Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and DTS:X audio.

Walmart agreed , although the deal faces regulatory approval. The 86-inch 4K TV officially goes on sale on April 29 at brick-and-mortar and digital retailers.
