Universal Does Some Movie Shuffling, Bumps Wolf Man to 2025


Universal has been teasing new technology The Wolf Man from The Invisible Man and Additional information about Leigh Whannell for a while now. While it looked like we’d be seeing it in theaters for a few months, it’s now back.

At the end of Friday, a The Hollywood Reporter revealed the film has now moved from its original date of October 25 to January 17, 2025. Filming just started last week in New Zealand, and it was a few days ago that the main plot of the film was revealed: Christopher Abbott (based on Ryan Gosling) and Julia Garner and parents of a family that is “threatened by a deadly beast.” Abbott plays Larry Talbot, who eventually becomes the legendary Wolf Man, and was previously played by Lon Chaney Jr. and Benicio del Toro in the 1940s version and the 2010 remake.

It’s not the only horror movie that’s moving. Universal chose to answer A woman in a circle from the date of January 10, 2025 and withdraw its entire system. The reason is not given, and it is not clear what the film is about; which is known and which is controlled by Black Adam Jaume Collet-Serra and Danielle Deadwyler (Until) in the lead role.

Even with these two delays, Universal still has horror in 2024. Abigail on April 19, it is releasing a remake directed by James McAvoy Do not speak evil on September 13, followed by Robert Eggers Nosferatu (starring Bill Skårsgard and Lily Rose-Depp) on Christmas Day.
