Georgia Hunter’s book is from her parents. Most of the author’s family experienced the horrors of the Nazis and survived. He explained how his grandfather had influenced his story during a previous interview with a CT scan.

“Maybe the whole family survived – there were 22 of them – they took part,” he previously told Sound Watch magazine. “It was rare, which is fortunate but not something he could boast about. More than that, it wasn’t in my grandfather’s DNA to think about the past. He had this positive, strong, forward-thinking outlook on life.”
