continues its work of infusing AI into more products and features. For one reason, it is coming to many places in the coming months, including conference chat and a chat box.

Soon AI will be able to provide you with information and notifications from conference chats and documents, so if something was written or spoken, Copilot can delete it. Microsoft says that when you turn on Copilot in a meeting chat, you’ll have a “comprehensive and integrated view” of what you and your colleagues are talking about.

As for bringing Copilot to the message box, the AI can help you rewrite a custom message. So if you want to add a call to action or a joke, you can ask Copilot to do that. Soon, AI will be able to generate new messages by pulling from Teams conversations. This should give you a place to jump and you can change the message you want as you see fit.

Additionally, a smart calling feature is coming to Teams. This automatically creates notes and actions from the Calls app. This feature will be available for both Teams Premium and Copilot next quarter.

Elsewhere, Microsoft is releasing other features that aim to improve hybrid meetings. IntelliFrame integrates with CloudAI to create a personalized video for each person attending a Teams Rooms meeting, so that everyone has the same team experience. This feature will now be enabled by default on Teams Rooms devices.

On top of this, Microsoft plans to release an IntelliFrame feature called automatic camera switching. This will use AI to show the best view of each person in the room, whether it’s from the front-facing camera or their desktop camera. If someone gets distracted by one of the cameras, IntelliFrame will try to do so adjust to see them clearly.

Similarly, speaker recognition technology will need to improve Copilot’s written and informed information. Microsoft says this feature will be available as a preview in Teams Rooms in April.
