King Charles and Camilla Celebrate Easter Amid His Cancer Battle

The British monarch made his first public appearance since revealing his cancer diagnosis, stepping out with his wife Queen Camilla at the Easter Matins meeting in St. George’s Chapel on March 31.

Charles, who was all smiles at the event, wore a long navy coat, matching trousers, and a white shirt and blue tie, while Camilla wore an emerald green Anna Valentine dress, matching Philip Treacy hat and black suede shoes. The King, 75, and Queen, 76, were all smiles as they greeted well-wishers outside the church.

The two were joined by Charles’ siblings Queen Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edwardwho arrived with his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Andrew was accompanied by his ex-wife and roommate Sarah FergusonThe Duchess of York, whose appearance marks her first Easter public appearance with the royal family in more than 30 years.
