Immortals of Aveum headlines April’s PS Plus monthly games

Sony uncovered April’s PlayStation Plus games on Wednesday. The group includes Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, Skull: The Hero Slayer and a Overwatch 2 skin-and-jump bundle. Subscribers to PS Plus’ Essential, Extra and Premium tiers can claim titles from Tuesday, April 2.

Immortals of Aveum (PS5) showed promise, but its “first-person shooter with magic instead of guns” approach was not a commercial success. The EA-published game was met with mixed reviews, and its release date – competing with the likes of it Baldur’s Gate III, Core VI tools and Starfield – probably didn’t help. This led to indie developer Ascendant Studios leaving about half of his staff a few weeks after starting. However, despite the smoothness of the machine and the population, we He loved his movies and his powerful magic showsso it may be worth checking that you are not at risk with your registration.

Minecraft Legends (PS5 / PS4) takes the best-selling game of all time and turns it into a real-time game. In the blocky style of the franchise, players form alliances to defeat pigs from the Nether dimension. The game includes a single-player story and multiplayer for up to eight players.

Skull: The Hero Slayer (PS4) is a retro 2D side-scrolling roguelike. You play as a skeleton that can swap skulls – and, of course, abilities – with its slain enemies. (Easy!) The game allows you to choose two types of skills and encourages quick exchanges in battle.

In addition to these three games, all PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy special offers Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle in April. This pack includes nine skins and five Battle Pass Tier Skips. You need to download it first Overwatch 2 from the PlayStation Store, and the bundle should appear in the game immediately (whether you’re a new or returning player).
