Donald Trump says it’s time for Israel to ‘end’ the Gaza war | Israel’s War on Gaza News

The US president says the October 7 attack by Hamas was brutal, but Israel is now losing international support.

Donald Trump, former US president and Republican in the November election in the United States, has warned Israel that it is losing international support and must “end” its war in Gaza.

Trump said that while he would have done the same with Israel after the Hamas attack on October 7, in which more than 1,000 people were killed and more than 200 were taken prisoner, it was time to end the conflict.

More than 32,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since Israel’s occupation bombs in the area about six months ago.

“You have to finish your war,” Trump told Israel Hayom in an interview the right-wing newspaper said was published over the weekend. “You have to finish, you have to do it.”

Trump’s comments were published after the UN Security Council voted end the war quickly. The measure passed after Washington he didn’t hold back instead of using his veto.

Israel has said it will continue fighting until Hamas is destroyed and the remaining captives are freed, and it wants to push into Rafah in southern Gaza, where more than 1 million Palestinians have fled. The policy has raised concerns in the US.

“Israel has to be very careful, because you’re losing the rest of the world, you’re losing a lot of aid,” Trump said during the interview.

Trump has often presented himself as a supporter of Israel, pointing to his decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem and his presidency’s role in breaking the Abraham 2020 agreement, which saw Arab countries including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain establish good relations with Israel.

The Palestinians have been opposing these policies for a long time.
