Did you know Deepika Padukone cried on the first day of shooting for Ram-Leela?

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela was the beginning of the streak of blockbusters that Deepika Padukone was about to give as she rose to become one of the biggest female actors of her generation. It was also her first collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh.

The film completed 10 years and the writer spilled some beans in conversation with ETimes that we were unaware of. Deepika Padukone had broken down on day one of shooting for Ram-Leela. It is known that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has certain methods with his actors. 

The writer revealed how the filmmaker always breaks the rhythm with which an actor performs and so on the first day even though they followed the script, he changed the dialogue flow just to break Deepika’s rhythm.

It was her first day on a shoot for that film and it got a little overwhelming for her in the initial stage.
