Well-wishes have been pouring in from all over as Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja recently turned parents. The power couple took to Instagram to share an adorable image of them holding their son, who turned a month old yesterday. In the image the happy family was seen in co-ordinated clothes.
They also embraced the occasion to announce the name of their son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja.
In an Instagram post, they wrote, “In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives. In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength… In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the panch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deities of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerizingly beautiful. Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family.”
The comments section was brimming with good wishes. Newly-turned grandfather, Anil Kapoor commented with heart and celebration emojis. Malaika Arora wrote, “That’s a beautiful name. God bless.” Raveena Tandon wrote, “Congratulations! What a beautiful vibration in the name to have surrounding him.
