The first teaser trailer of Oppenheimer, the latest film from Christopher Nolan starring Cillian Murphy is finally here. Like most projects helmed by the director, the upcoming film promises an epic ride.
The short black and white clip is our closest look at the film by far and it’s cryptic, to say the least. It introduces Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist who came to be known as the father of the atomic bomb. The teaser unveils Murphy’s full look along with shots of atoms as the countdown begins, quite literally. It ends with a voice-over that says, “the man who moved the Earth.”
