Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for his larger-than-life film sets and period productions. This time he is all set to make his digital debut with yet another ambitious project titled Heeramandi. The storyline revolves around the courtesans in the Heeramandi district in the pre-independent era.
The first actress to have already started prepping for the same is Richa Chaddha. She is said to have started taking Kathak dance lessons. What’s interesting to know is that she is a trained dancer herself in the same dance form. She was earlier spotted numerous times outside SLB’s office.
A close source to the ambitious project has now reported, “Heeramandi is one of the most ambitious projects till date for Sanjay sir. It being his digital debut which makes it even more special and challenging at the same time as one has to put their best foot forward. Richa has already been doing the look tests for the show and she is all set to play a crucial role. As part of it, she’s learning kathak now and the classes have already begun ahead of the series shoot next month in Mumbai. Richa has been training for the last two weeks already and will continue training for another few days ”.
