Today Alia Bhatt took the internet by surprise as she announced that she is pregnant with her first child. She shared the joyous news in an Instagram post captioned, “Our baby… .. coming soon”. Among the many heartwarming reactions, Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt expressed his happiness over the news.
Mahesh Bhatt has shared that he can’t wait to take on the role of a grandfather. As per reports on ETimes, he reacted to the announcement by saying, “Ah, my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase.”
He added, And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: The role of a Grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut. ”
Alia Bhatt shared the news with a photo of herself getting an ultrasound scan with Ranbir Kapoor by her side. She also dropped a picture of lions with their cub.
Earlier today, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan also talked about being overwhelmed with joy. She said that she could not wait to be a “nani.”
