Speaking to reporters, President Biden threatened one thing that Putin does not want, the NATO majority in Europe.
Biden’s gaggle notes by the media as provided by PoliticusUSA and the White House:
Q President Biden, what did you say about your singing with Vladimir Putin?
THE PRESIDENT: I told President Putin that if he relocated to Ukraine, he would be severely punished. We will add – our presence in Europe with our NATO Allies, and it should be a heavy price to pay.
Q Did you realize that they will not be able to invade Ukraine after negotiation?
THE PRESIDENT: What I understood was that he agreed that we would hold three major conventions in Europe from the middle of the month with our senior staff on the OSCE, Russia-NATO Council, and to continue our discussion of our philosophy. And so, he never contradicted any of it.
And he expressed his concerns about NATO and the United States and Europe, and we set our own. And we were going to start discussing some of those issues.
But I made it very clear to them that they can only work if they have lowered, not multiplied, the situation is there.
Q Do you expect a definite improvement after the negotiations in January?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, I always look forward to you talking, you go ahead, but we’ll see. We’ll see.
Putin Leaves Trump Trap To Attack NATO To Biden Nightmare
Donald Trump has spent four years trying to break the US treaty, with real interest being given to NATO. One of Putin’s long-term goals was to expand Russia’s power and overthrow NATO.
Biden’s threat to increase NATO presence is the last thing Putin wants. Major economic sanctions could undermine Russia’s already strained economy, but if Putin knows that an invasion of Ukraine could pose a serious threat to his territory, he should do so first.
Putin had good under Trump. He could do whatever he wanted, wherever he wanted without being pushed by the US.
It’s all over now, with Biden representing Putin, and paying him a lot of money if he invades Ukraine.
