President Biden called on House and Senate staff to thank them for their bravery in defending the Capitol during the Trump coup.
President Biden’s Twitter account wrote:
In the face of a violent mob on January 6, House and Senate officials took action to protect Capitol and our democracy. I invited others today to hear their stories and thank them for their courage. They are just a few of the unsung heroes of that day. pic.twitter.com/fpW4JmjZ3R

Donald Trump did not care about the safety of these workers on 1/6/21. The former president sat in his arms and watched in horror as a vicious act of violence was fought in the name of democracy.
Republicans like Lindsey Graham are on fire because President Biden called Trump a Capitol insurgency, but there are people working in the Capitol who stood up for the defense of democracy before Trump sparked violence, and he deserves to be praised by the country.
Joe Biden knows all about the hard work of Congress staff. President Biden commends the people. Donald Trump did not care about the lives he put at risk of 1/6, but quickly after a year, and the same people seem to be accepted.
The people whom Trump put at risk are being commended by Biden, and this is the change that America most wanted at the Oval Office.
