When the Buccaneers (4-1) travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles (2-3) on “Thursday Night Ball” (8:20 pm ET, Fox, NFL Network or Amazon Prime Video), it will be the battle of the two teams that won the week 5.

The Bucs return to the Northeast to try to do better than their relatives escape in Week 4. The Eagles are looking for their first home win after being defeated there by the Chiefs in Week 4.

Eagle against the Buccaneers regular list
The eagles are on the margins of 10-9. The Buccaneers have won the last two meetings, 27-21 in 2018 and 45-17 in 2015. Before that time the Eagles climbed three winning games. Earlier, the Bucs had played just three games to face the Eagles’ four-game Eagles since 2000.
Three things to know
-E 81% of every bettor in the media thinks the number is too high for the Buccaneers and believes the Eagles will work like a night at home.
-More than 93% of overweight / underweight think that the first few weeks are still low given Brady and Hurts.
-Buccaneers are 9-1 straight and 6-4 are battling the spread in their last 10 games with a total of more than seven. The Eagles have 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games. That number is more than half that.
Three things to look for
Thumbs for Brady
Brady comes into the game with an injured finger. But he is back in the game after throwing 411 yards and 5 TDs against the Dolphins last week. The Eagles have been doing well against Matt Ryan, Jimmy Garoppolo and Sam Darnold in defense. But they too were torn apart by Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott. See endnote details.
Who Can Help the Pain?
The Eagles will be happier here than ever before but at the very end Dallas Goedert (COVID-19 series) on the shelf, they need other players to open up any chance of frustration. Deaconta first-team receiver DeVonta Smith and second-round Zach Ertz are supposed to be key, but they also have to deal with their talent, Miles Sanders and rookie Kenneth Gainwell, who are also involved in the game. The Bucs were suspended from high school and will be without linebacker Lavonte David (knee).
How do eagles cover the Bucs?
There’s no Rob Gronkowski at the end too hard to cause problems, but between Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, the Eagles will have a hard time. Defender Darius Slay is back in top form, but Steven Nelson and Avonte Maddox are at high risk. Check out Godwin to be the most successful this week after Evans and Brown played big games last week.
The results are important
142 running circles per game, 4.3 tracks to carry. These are the sections that the eagles provide in defense, putting them number 30 in the NFL. Their defensive strategy played two very defensive games to defend against the big game. Brady has seen this and restored Leonard Fournette to another level of handoffs where needed.
Predicting Eagles vs. Buccaneers
Eagles are a slow mistake. The Buccaneers tend to skip teams and Brady is the most welcome. The Eagles’ unwillingness to drive the ball away from the Hurts is a good option, as Tampa Bay has a great defense. The Buccaneers defend Brady well and allow him to perform high-level duties on the central streets, while the Hurts are not strong enough to make a comeback.
