With R1T cars off the assembly line at its factory in Normal, Illinois, Rivian continues to prepare for the first appearance of its first EVs at the end of this month. On Thursday, the machine manufacturer launched a file of membership program which will give Rivian owners the opportunity to earn a fine by building it soon Adventure Network chargers and Waypoints. It also promised to match Rivian Membership customers running with power from enhanced features such as wind and solar, as well as providing unlimited access to 4G LTE.
In addition, the service also includes Rivian off-Roadside Assistance, a feature that will see the company send you a return car if you continue on the road or need an emergency battery. The company has also promised to increase future requirements, including new types of vehicles, public meetings and home appliances. Each new Rivian car will come with 12 months of free participation. After that, you have to pay to continue to enjoy the membership. The company did not say how much it would like to pay for the operation, so we have started to find out more.
