Corinne admits, “Obviously, I’ve had the opportunity to do a lot of amazing things in my life because of my dad’s work.” “I went to South Africa with Oprah [Winfrey] i’m 12 years old, things are pretty cool. For that reason, I am grateful forever a special life I’ve been there but I think a lot of people would think I’ve got a lot of opportunities given to me and I don’t have to work hard. And this is a hard thing for me to accept because I work hard, and I will be the first to admit that the doors are open for me, but I have to show it all if the doors open. That is why it can be difficult at times. ”
The model and actor described how she uses her platform to do good to others. “When I was younger, I realized that people would be interested in what I said and did. I just made a very early decision, and I said, ‘Well I didn’t ask for this but if you can be more interested in me than let me tell you nice and encouraging things,’ ”he said.
Corinne discussed her partnership with TJMaxx which has just started Change Change, a women’s writing program to connect women to feel supported during transition. The program is part of TJMaxx’s The Maxx You Project, a work that continues to help women embrace change with confidence.
“That’s why interacting with TJ Maxx in this way was so certain to me because I already do this in my daily life,” he said. “This is already my goal, and empowering and connecting with other women is what I do.” Corinne also explained that because of her “anxiety” she decided to become NAMI’s ambassador, the National Alliance on Mental Illness at a very young age. “I am an ambassador for the Endometriosis Foundation of America because I did endometriosis. Works of charity honestly is the best job I can do. ”
The multi-talented star also spoke of her interest in acting and the unexpected drama that strengthened Corinne’s love for the big screen. “When I was a child, Natalie Portman he was my northern star. One, because of his excellent skills, but he went to Harvard and put his education ahead of his career. And for me, I went to USC and at the time I wasn’t sure if I could do the job right away and study, but knowing that Natalie Portman did was very encouraging to me.
